Yay! Its Flamefruit (Red fleshed Dragonfruit) season again.
We have a wonderful crop of organically grown fruit available now for $4 each.
Our raw garden honey is also available.

It is our last open Sunday this season. We will open again at the end of Autumn next year (April). All sales after this Sunday 25th Sept will be by appointment. Mb Johnny: 0458381628.
I will still be posting on any plant stock during spring and summer as it becomes available.
Our raw honey will continue to be available so just phone first to pick up.
I’m bringing out a couple unusual things that I have Grafted. They are both deciduous and about to burst with new spring/summer growth.
1. AFRICAN MARULA trees - these are $99 each. You will need both Male and Female trees to produce fruit. (12 left)
2. KING SHATOOT WHITE MULBERRY - $88 each. Only need one, they are an amazing edible feature tree. Ideal to plant on the northside of a building as a lawn or garden centre piece. (1 only)
We also have Monto Vetiver Grass available in tubes. $6.60 each. This is a fast growing grass that gets to 2m+ tall. It makes an great non competitive windbreak around vege gardens and orchards. Once you have a stock plant growing, they can be multiplied easily by division. They are a great mulch source if you want to regularly cut them back.

One of the last few Sundays we will be open this season. After this we will be open by appointment.
We have almost sold all our native tubestock this year. Most of our plant stock available is now larger.
I have a few plants I’d like to clear. These are absolute bargains so don’t miss out if it interests you:
SUNDAY’S BARGAINS:
I have big 4 CANDLENUT trees (left in 6 litre bags) Aleurites mollucanus. They were $66 and need to be planted. I am happy to let them go to a good home for $30 each.
I also have lots of PANDAN. Our large pots which can be divided in to many were $33.00 each, these I have reduced to $25 each. I am letting smaller 2 litre pots go for $10 each.
Other plants that may interest are:
DESERT KURRAJONGS $27.50 - These long lived iconic species are just about to burst out their spring growth in 2 litres. Plus three large ones - $77.
NORKOLK ISLAND PINES - $44 each. Looking fabulous if you have a coastal spot and plenty of space. Could easily be potted on and sold as advanced trees.
We still have 3 PASSIONFRUIT varieties left after last weeks sales.
And our wonderful RAW HONEY $10 each and HONEY COMB.. $5.00 each. While our honey is no longer runny it has a lovely soft texture that melts in your mouth with a malty edge to the flavour.
To keep this honey liquid we would have to substantially heat it and this would damage its natural microbiome and hence many health benefits. To pass on these benefits, we choose to sell it raw and unheatedunseated.

Sunday again and the nursery is open. 9.00am-3.00pm
This week I am bringing a few Pileanthus tubestock (also known as Coppercups) out of the shadehouse. These are breathtakingly beautiful wildflower shrubs that grow well on the sandplain. They are native around Yuna through to Sharkbay. If you have a native garden and you want it to stand out, think about this species.
I also have four different passionfruit available:
TENNIS BALL PINK - $18.70 (20 left) My Favourite
PANAMA GOLD - $13.20 - a gi-normus and very vigorous variety which has been growing prolifically in Carnarvon. How to impress the neighbours. (30 left)
JAPANESE HARDSHELL - $16.50 a beautiful deciduous vine (3 left)
HAWAIIAN YELLOW - Our old faithful yellow variety with a lovely sweet tang. $13.20 (15 left).
I have also brought out some MEXICAN OREGANO. $22 each. This is a great fast growing herbal shrub that you can regularly harvest for its oregano flavoured leaves. I only have 8 of these as they are difficult to propagate.
AND…. We have lots of jars of our freshly robbed raw HONEY available.. $10 for 500g. Divine flavours this season!
