Fast growing bushy shrub local to the Geraldton banksia sandplain area. Massive display of bunches of golden yellow flowers in early winter.

Ideal low windbreak. Known for its copious quantity of edible sweet gum and nutritious ‘bush food’ seeds. Lives to 15 years.
