Cardamon Leaf Ginger


Great as a tropical looking screen. Grown for its foliage, which is edible and has the fragrance of Cardamon when crushed, and suitability for shaded areas of your garden.

The root is not usually used and plant doesn’t produce cardamom seed pods. The leaves can be used in cooking e.g. to wrap food & flavour it and add to sweet rice dessert.

Lush leaved, quick growing plant for protected, moist shaded spot in our hotter dryland climate. Fragrant leaves when crushed used as wrapping in rice dishes.
