Fast growing hardy shrub local to our Midwest. Lives for 7 years and is best planted with a second row of longer lived species if used as a windbreak. Can reproduce by root suckers as it ages.

Large display of yellow flowers in October. Tolerates limestone soils and an excellent pioneer species.
