One of the hardiest fast growing windbreak gums of the mid-west region.

Grey foliage changes to green as plant ages. Tree limbs are smooth and copper-coloured.

Often planted with the winter rains and never irrigated. However watering through the first summer will increase growth rates substantially. Able to tolerant semi-saline and heavier clay soils.
