A thick rounded canopy tree that gives plenty of shade. Tolerates drought, extreme heat, salt water, alkalinity and frost.

In Spring it produces a mass of apricot coloured flowers with uniquely shaped buds.

Native to Coolgardie, grows in areas of rainfall as low as 230mm.
