About Us

Located in Geraldton, in the Midwest of Western Australia we demonstrate the practical application of Permaculture and environmental conservation. We operate as a not-for-profit environmental organisation – The Drylands Foundation.

The Royal Deal - Kaffir Plum Trees!Royal Deal on 2m tall Kaffir Plum trees. Its Queen's birthday long weekend special and we releasing them
- 2 for $92 - (full price is $70 each)

This South African fruit tree has glossy dark green leaves, is fast growing (especially when irrigated through the first two summers) and can live up to 150 years old.
In Geraldton it is a 7-8m drought tolerant species that has small red fruit with a tangy sweet flesh that can be eaten fresh or made into jellies, jams or rose wine.

It prefers to grow in free-draining soils. Great for gardens and paddocks in: Waggrakine, Moresby, Beachlands, Park Falls, Glenfield, Deepdale, Wooree, Beresford, Moonyonooka, Northampton, Wonthella, Utakarra, Bluff Point, White peak, Spalding and Kalbarri.

The Royal Deal - Kaffir Plum Trees!

The extraordinary beauty of these unique plants are one of the reasons we are passionate about preserving and growing local species.As the wildflowering goes wild!
Here are a few that are flowering on the farm at the moment.
The white flowering Grevillea is the Drummond's Bridal Grevillea, Our emu punky is posing.. The pink flowering Grevillea are our Pink Pokers and the yellow buttercup flower is Senna Austin. They also perform well in cultivation and have all been used as front line windbreaks and screening shrubs around our property and are winners.
Seedlings available from $4.40 to $6.60 each.
