  • CORN – Chinese Mini

    Zea mays

    Plants reach 1.5m and tend to be multiple stemmed. Each plant produces approximately 15 cob. These can be harvested when premature (silks are pink and eaten as chinese mini corn. If let to mature, the small red kernels may be used as popcorn.

  • CORN – Mexican Sweetcorn

    Zea mays

    A delicious variety not exhibiting the insipid sweetness of many hybrids. 250mm long kernels with 2 to 3 cobs per plant. Seeds are a golden yellow colour. A characteristic of this variety is that the seeds dry flat, this is not an indication of low viability.

  • CORN – Multi-Coloured Aztec

    Zea mays

    This plant grows to 2.5m high and produces a beautiful cob speckled with white red, blue and yellow kernels. This corn can also be eaten if harvested in its immature stage.
    Dried seeds are usually ground to make a cornmeal for breads and corn chips.

    Highly productive cowpea for eating immature, or cooked when mature; and useful nitrogen fixing legume.

  • COWPEA – Black-Seeded Thai

    Vigna unguiculata

    This is a summer bush bean which needs light shade through the hotter months over 40oC. It has been highly productive with little soil improvement. Very good as a stringless green bean or a dries bean.

  • COWPEA – Burkino Faso

    Vigna unguiculata

    This extremely heat hardy cowpea from Africa has adapted well to the Geraldton climate with irrigation. Eat young beans as a steamed vegetable or dried seeds as a pulses.

  • CUCUMBER – Dongara Long White Apple

    Cucumis sativus

    Climbing plant, fruit 150 to 200mm long. White coloured flesh with white skin.
    This apple type of cucumber has textured surface. Heirloom variety from Dongara, Western Australia.

    Chrysanthemum x morifolium

    Sometimes referred to as ‘Chop Suey Greens’. Leaves are eaten in Stir fries in Chinese food. This annual plant grow to 1.5m and has masses of 30-40mm yellow chrysanthemum flowers.

  • EGGPLANT – Laos Tiger Green Stripe

    Solanum melongena

    A non-bitter heirloom eggplant with pleasant flavour from Laos. Cream-coloured fruit with green “tiger stripes” on upper half.
    When fruit is picked at this stage no pre-processing is needed, cook entire fruit with skin. Bears prolifically over 3-4 yrs.

  • EGGPLANT – Pintong Long Improved

    Solanum melongena

    Improved strain of a Taiwanese cultivar. Light purple fruits 200-250mm long 25-50mm wide. Excellent for slicing and pickling. Very early productive upright plants, up to 20 fruits per plant. Resistant to high temperatures and humidity.

All orders under 100 packets are delivered by Australia Post - Express. Minimum postage cost is $11.

Postage and handling are calculated at checkout.

For order over 100 packets - postage will be confirmed upon confirmation email of your order.

Postage and handling will not be charged for local pickups.

Seeds per Packet

The number of seeds per packet is displayed next to the varieties' SKU code.

We look to provide enough for gardeners for a number of seasons. Some seeds are very small and are hand counted rather than weighed, and some variation in actual seeds per packet may occur.

Pay Options

We do not accept credit card payments. We accept payment for on-line orders through Direct Deposit or Cheque/Money Order.

Upon receipt of your order we will confirm that we have stocks to meet your order and provide you with Direct Deposit details.

For local pickup orders we have eftpos facilities.


Bulk Orders

We do not accept bulk orders due the limitations of the size of our gardens where we grow and save our seeds.

Some seeds may have limits in regards to the number of packets you can purchase.

This is dependent on our current stock and what we are currently growing in our gardens. We will confirm quantities upon receipt of your order.
