Description
This deciduous ‘Horseradish Tree’ is highly regarded in Asia, Africa and India as a food tree. The young leaves are eaten as nutritious greens and young pods as vegetables.
The flowers are also edible and highly attractive to nectar feeding birds.
While drought tolerant it needs irrigation to grow well in summer dry areas like Geraldton. Avoid overwatering when deciduous in colder months.
