Description

Herbacious shrub from the tropics with distince woody aerial roots, used extensively for its fragrant leaves in Asian cuisine as flavouring and colouring.

In our arid Midwest climate it needs to be grown in a shadehouse with good moisture and humidity to do well. Can be easily grown in a large pot with fertile well drained soil.
